Hotel Lessing is situated in a quiet and central area close to the Volksgarten/Lessingplatz.
Various locations such as the 'Königsallee', which is Germanys most elegant shopping boulevard, the Rhein-Ruhr Airport, the 'Altstadt' with its notorious longest bar in the world, as well as the newly built Rhine Promenade, are easily accessible by public transport. Our reception will give you full details.

Nearby is the 'Volksgarten' which offers the sporting person a jog around the park. Only a few minutes away the 'Lauswart' invites you to tee-off on the public nine-hole golf course.

Arrival by car:
From the A46 Wuppertal toward Düsseldorf (accessible from the A3 at intersection Hilden) take the exit 'Düsseldorf-Uni/Zentrum'. At the 6th traffic light turn right, then, after the 6th traffic light turn left. Take the next right, next left, next left again into the 'Volksgartenstraße' in which you will find the Hotel Lessing. Upon arrival, we will welcome you with a fresh glass of Düsseldorf's famous 'Alt' beer.

Arrival by rail:
From platform 12 at Düsseldorf Main Railway Station, you take the S8, S28 or S11, direction 'Neuss' and get out at the next stop 'D-Friedrichstadt'.
On exit, turn to walk against the stream of traffic and proceed to the station exit. Turn right, then after several meters turn left into the 'Sonnenstraße'. At the end of the street (approx. 100meters) you reach the 'Lessingplatz' and turn right into the 'Volksgartenstraße'.
Hotel Lessing is also in walking distance. Approximately 8 to 10 minutes from Düsseldorf main station. For this route leave the Main Station at the exit 'Oberbilk' and walk along the 'Willi-Becker-Allee' until the end. Cross over the main street and follow the 'Lessingstraße' until you reach the 'Lessingplatz'. In the near vicinity you will find Hotel Lessing. Upon arrival, we will welcome you with a fresh glass of Düsseldorf's famous 'Alt' beer.

Arrival by air:
At the Rhein-Ruhr-Airport Düsseldorf follow signs to 'S-Bahn' and take the S7 train and exit at 'D-Volksgarten' station. In the subway turn left onto the 'Volksgartenstraße' and proceed until you you reach Hotel Lessing on the right. Upon arrival, we will welcome you with a fresh glass of Düsseldorf's famous 'Alt' beer.
